Coxy was born in Italy and raised between Milan and Paris. Her enduring love and passion for the art of cinema ignited during her childhood after watching Federico Fellini’s movies.
Coxy started her career in the fashion industry, crafting her creative talents for renowned luxury brands like Gucci, Dolce & Gabbana, Prada, Gianfranco Ferré, Roberto Cavalli, and more. Here, she designed fashion collections and directed captivating video productions, ad campaigns, and fashion films.
In 2013, Coxy embarked on an audacious journey to Los Angeles, resolute in her pursuit of her lifelong dream. She breached the doors of the film industry through the Costume department, rapidly ascending as a visionary Costume Designer. Coxy has created costumes for features, television, short films, commercials, and music videos. She’s currently receiving high praise from 20th Century Television, Gotham Group, and Hulu for her fantastic design work on the upcoming series WASHINGTON BLACK (2024). Simultaneously, Coxy ventured into writing and directing short films with her sights firmly set on her forthcoming feature debut.
Coxy’s creative talent has earned her global recognition, with her work featured in renowned publications such as Vogue, Marie Claire, and L’Officiel. Her impact extended to the “The New Vocabulary of Italian Fashion” exhibition at the Triennale Museum of Design in Milan, solidifying her legacy in the fashion world. Her films have also illuminated international film festivals, garnering accolades and recognition.
Coxy’s current home base is in Los Angeles, but her adventurous spirit and passion for travel consistently lead her across the globe to engage in fresh projects and discover untold narratives.
